Hmm, maybe that's why I liked the current Jayco interiors so much that I ended up buying one, a North Point 377:

Theunz, and you know what the inside of a French bordello looks like, exactly HOW?

I would prefer most of that cheesy looking fake wood trim that seams to be tacked up everywhere be removed. Its all going to fall off anyway. I dont need a three layered trim and a ceiling mirror anyway.

Trim is removable, and walls are paintable. I know of several new RV's, including a fairly new DRV that the owners painted the interior. Most of the slide trim facia is removable and able to be replaced with whatever you want. Just be sure your slide is stable before removing.

I agree. were in the market for a 5er. Everything we look at has dark trim, cabinets, black or dark brown leather furniture. For this reason we have to special order our 5er to get what we want.

When we were looking in 2014, the unit layout we liked had mustard colored fake leather furniture and a bit darker cabinets - the dealer said he could get a more conventional interior. We ended up elsewhere but even the Montana we bought had ghastly patterned furniture fabric which was replaced with better quality items the following spring and a bed cover that is now stored in a plastic bag for that day the RV goes down the road. Then there is that almost black back interior wall which may disappear this year under some paint and the carpet that is close to a shag length, circa 1975, but at least a reasonable color.
Makes me wonder if a virtually stripped interior 5er could be ordered.
Yes, I too would love a New Horizon but at $175K to over $200K is NOT in our budget

we have a 2018 Chaparral 5th wheel, it was lighter in the decor than others we looked at as well as than the 5th wheel we traded in. I am considering changing the window treatments and trim, and adding lighter color decor items to it. I also am adding family photo's from camping trips in past years. one also could paint the interior to lighten and make it your own. We look at the things that we can't change, that we want in a camper, the floorplan and the appliances and such to fit our needs. you can always change our the valances and other such things
