Wiring?
Hi All,
I just purchased a 1975? 30' Holiday Rambler and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find some information about it? ie. Wiring diagram and just general info like options they came with floor plans and things like that. I have been searching the web but doesn't seem to be to much info out there about them. I checked with Monaco Rv and they directed me here.
Thank you,

That old I doubt that you will find much of anything.
Best solution I could offer you is to go to lowes and buy a signal generator. The type used to trace house wiring and start tracing things out. That and a good VOM and you should be able to find and fix any electrical issues the old gal might have. If you have specific questions, feel free to post them here and someone will help you out.
Remember all of the appliances are manufacturerd by outside suppliers, so those should be pretty east to come by. Get the model and serial numbers for each item and do a web search for the manufacturer web site. They often times have manuals for old/obsolete items available.

I doubt any RV manufacturer can supply a wiring diagram for it's products, current or older companies included. Donn told you straight.

Actually that is not true. Winnebago diagrams are available back to 1975 on this forum.

I tried to get a wiring diagram from my RV manufacturer...they couldn't (wouldn't) provide one... They were more than happy to provide building plans, but, not the electrical or plumbing plans. My guess is that they are a lot like an old Austin-Healey I had...not too meticulous about following plans in the actual manufacturing process. When I had my Austin, I knew a fellow that used to be the head mechanic at the British Embassy (he was most definitely British) and he said the Austin factory followed the plans, usually, but, if they ran out of white with green stripe, they would use whatever was laying around and hence the wiring diagrams for the A-Hs weren't worth the paper they were printed on. My guess is that the RV industry is quite similar.

Coachmen sent me a wiring diagram for my TT a coupleof years ago. Again that was before Forest River bought them. Good luck with your search.
