05 v8 4Runner TV with Forest River Rockwood 2109s TT brake controller

So I just bought this trailer and will be picking it up from the previous owners place soon.

My '05 4runner has the tow package from the factory. From my understanding that means near my parking brake there should be an unused white connector (i've got the factory harness the truck came with when I bought it for this) to use to connect a controller. That just means that the only thing I need to buy is the controller itself (like a Redarc, Curt, Reese, etc) and connect it to the factory cabling? Seems pretty easy and straightforward but figured I would check...

Is there a goto, recommended controller that is the one to get? Ideally I would prefer something that's out of the way and not cluttering up the dash as I already have a ton going on. The Redarc looks nice as it has the dial that goes in an unused button space and the unit itself gets hidden.

I had a 2004 Highlander with the tow package. I was only interested in installing a 4 pin flat plug to tow a small boat. That was plug and play if I got the parts from the dealer. It was really easy. I did use a zip tie to keep wires nice and neat.

I would expect you to have the same 'plug & play' connectors.

Yup thats what I expect it to be. So I just need to pick a controller to install in the cab then it sounds like.

I ordered a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite v3 to use as it can be neatly installed without being intrusive. Too many other random pieces in the cab so anything I can do to install something that is nice and simple is good.
