1/2 ton question
I have a 2015 f150. 5.0 v8. 7050# gvwr package which gives me a payload of about 2k pounds. It’s a super cab with the 6.5’ bed.
Considering a jay flight 267bhs. 6k+- uvw, 7k gross. Weight should be manageable. Length is 30’. Any concerns with the weight/length combo?
Thanks in advance. Alternate option would be going shorter with a bunk/Murphy bed floor plan.

Welcome to iRV2.
You have a truck with a GVWR package, any mention of trailer tow rating and GCWR?
JMHO. 30’ is a long trailer for a half ton.

I towed a 2008 26' total length Gulf Stream Streamlite 22SLB weighting about 5,500lbs nicely with a 2011 F-150 5.0 coyote engine. I used just a Drawtite WD hitch. I towed at 65 - 72 mph without any sway.
2015 is the redesigned truck so I think you will be good with 7,000lbs.
Side note - I like the Flagstaff/Rockwood trailers more than Jayco.

I have a friend with a 2015 and a trailer a little bit shorter and lighter than yours. It pulls it fine but the truck is so light it gets pushed around a bit. He’s planning on getting a super duty when he’s able.
Something that long getting hit with crosswinds being towed by a light truck isn’t fun.
My trailer is shorter and I tow with a diesel and crosswinds even push me around a bit. It’s terrifying for him.

I definitely like those. But may be a bit much for my budget. Also considering the Catalina summit 8 series 221. 26’ and 5300 pounds empty. There are obvious concessions compared to the mini lites but it is also $5-6k less. Open to suggestions!

That seems like a very low payload for the trailer. Fifty gallons of water and full LP tanks would leave not much available for "stuff". It would also seem that you would be getting really close on the GVW and total weight of the truck.
Towing get's to be varying degrees of "not fun" when you get close to limits.
I think your desired package is pushing it. You can always try it with the idea of getting a stronger horse to pull that trailer if desired($$$$$).
If it were me I wouldn't do this package as planned. Lighter/smaller trailer or a bigger horse.

It's the length that is the issue. You may not have as much payload left after actually putting your truck on a scale as well but a 30' trailer will put much more side force on the truck in the wind or from passing trucks. The first time you wobble the full width of your lane just because a semi or box truck passed you from behind you will regret putting that much trailer behind a half ton truck.

It might work out but just for reference my 2016 F250 weighs 7000 pounds empty and has a 2400 pound payload. Something about your numbers does not sound right.

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (lbs) View Definition 7,000
Dry Hitch Weight (lbs) View Definition 665
1130 lbs of CCC is unloaded is not enough. I would look for a different trailer.

Wow, 2,020lbs of payload is nothing to sneeze at. That is a really good. I see you do not have 'E' rated tires but 'T' rated. Do you know what other packages are on your truck. 'T' rated tires I think are special. My truck had a 1,550 lb payload.
Oh, my milage dropped from 19 mpg highway solo to 10 mpg towing so the engine was working but again, handled my 26' 5,500lb trailer nicely.

I pull 7k 30 ft travel trailer with an Expedition EL. As long as WDH and sway control are configured it will be fine. The F150 has more payload than my SUV.
