I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD with, what appears to be, an aftermarket receiver hitch installed. My question is, can I use the "easy connect brake control harness" for prodigy with this truck to avoid cutting and splicing wires. I have not crawled under the dash yet, but when I do, what should I look for. Is it a lose connection hanging there or is it something I need to unplug and then connect the brake control to. Like everybody else, I'm hoping for a simple install.

Hi
The place to plug in the controller harness in under the left of the dash, kinda behind the park brake pedal. An approx 4x4 black plastic cover held on with a long plastic push nut. Under the cover is where you plug in the harness. I believe it is the 2nd over from top left cavity. May have a diagram under the cover specifying which cavity. hope this helps.
