Went with a 2019 2500 ram. Seriously want to thank everyone for the great advice on this thread. I tried with the 1500. It just wasn’t good enough for me. This forum is really one of the most beneficial I have ever come across. Cheers. Safe travels this season.

Good choice and now you will not worry about towing. It will be a comfortable towing experience with the 2500.

If you don't mind, what is the cargo capacity on your 2019? I know the 2018 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi had over 3,000lbs of payload.

Wow, that is more than double the payload your old 1500. The wheelbase is probably 10" more too.

On another thread there is talk about 150/1500 trucks vs 250/2500 trucks. Now you can join them.
