I'd just come off shopping for a RAM truck where I could find base data online, and that's what I meant but didn't say, that I couldn't find base numbers online. Posted that when I was in the middle of negotiations on 5 different 2019s across the Puget Sound and hadn't seen any of them in person. Water under the bridge.

Chevy does it make it tough to find online.. I have zero idea why, but that's true.

I make the dealers take me a photo of the sticker and send it to me. I've found that even when I find the numbers online, they don't match the trucks on the lot, except for the base models.... Those seem to match up pretty inline with the online specs.

The reason the truck has rake is because it's designed to level out when you put weight on the hitch. My 2001 actually sits on the front bump rubbers when not towing. Put a load back there and you actually get front suspension travel.

I have its baby twin 1/2 ton, some day it will grow up to be a 1 ton, nice truck. By the way that doesn't look like the short bed, I have the shorty which is practically worthless. Yours looks like what used to be called short bed but now referred to as a standard bed. With the crew cab being so long, I think the standard bed is perfect. Long bed plus crew is like driving a big rig to the mini mart, to much IMHO, but we all have different needs I guess. Congrats!

As i stated earlier, that chevy is a Standard bed exactly like mine. The one ton does not come in a shrt bed....and your right, it's perfect. Wouldn't get a long bed if they made it. That is just me....buy what works for you....i did!

Hit the nail square on the head. Im not sure what other way that could have been interpreted. Gm makes a great truck but the "extras" that have been put on all the new trucks cut mileage and shorten engine life.

I have had the LTX tires on three different vehicles and loved them - great traction and have lasted longer that any other tires I have tried.

You picked a great tow vehicle. I towed a 14,400 lb. 5ver with 2015 GMC Denali Duramax 3500hd standard bed for over 30,000 miles over a period of 3 years. Installed a Curt 24K slider. No problems with self collision when backing so I never used the sliding hitch feature. The combination was very stable when towing, mores than my 2012 GMC 2500HD long bed. Averaged 12mpg and steep grades never slowed it down.

Nice looking rig...Congrats
Although I'm a Ford guy...LOL

I got rid of my 2016 F-150 and Purchased a 2016 F-350 Crew cab. It's a gas job. Couldn't afford the mortgage payment for a new Diesel. I am putting on a cold air intake and probably the 5star tuner. I tow a 2017 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. I installed my Curt 5th wheel hitch a couple of weeks back and set the camper on it. Maybe a 1" of squat. We are going camping this weekend for the 1st time with the F-350 Should be much better. The only thing that I don't really care for is it has 20" sneakers on it. I would have preferred 18"

A short bed is the only way to go, you will love the 1 Ton, there's nothing you can't do with it.
