There is no 4.10 gear available for the Duramax, that's why you can't find a published rating. There has never been any rear gear available for the Duramax except for 3.73; that's it.
My 2005 Duramax dually obviously has 3.73 rear gears. Between the load on the truck and the trailer I've weighed the combination at 25,240 pounds. That was 12,920 on the trailer axles so it was probably at least 1,500 pounds of tongue weight so about 14,500 trailer give or take. It handled it find, even over the mountains here in VA. To be honest I don't know what the truck's rated tow capacity is, I think it's 12,300 or so. My hitch, tires, and axles are rated for the load I put on it. It has 271,000 incredibly trouble free miles working, hauling, and towing every day.
Gear ratio isn't an issue with a duramax truck. Your 2500 will be light rear axle capacity.

Yea for sure the only way that truck has 4.10 gears is if someone installed them after. I have and ordered a new 2020 3500srw and the only gear ratio available now with the Duramax is 3.42. I wish GM would offer a choice. The new truck pulls the same as my 2017 with 3.73 and 6 speed trans no better no worse.
