5th Wheel Suspension Issues
I have a 2019 Vanleigh Pinecrest. My RV frame consistantly bottoms out on my tires on road trips. I believe it has been the cause of two tire blowouts. I'm wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem and what they have done to solve it?

Have you weighed to see if you are overweight? A broken spring perhaps. Something doesn’t seen right.

Yes, I've been weighed twice at the highway truck scales. Both times I was under the load rating for both my tires and axles.

Check:
Tire air pressure
Broken frame near connection points
Level when towing.

How about a photo of your suspension and axle attachment points? Yo know a picture is worth a thousand words.

Being under the tire and axle rating does not mean you are not overloaded. My trailer has 2 #4400 pound axles and four #2800 pound tires but has a gvwr of #7200. I could be well within both those limits and also be severely overloaded. What is your gvwr and what did the trailer weigh at the scales?

You have a relativly new (2019) semi upscale 5th wheel. I looked on-line at the specs of the Pinecrest. The one I looked at had a cargo capacity of over 3,000lbs. That kinda tells me that is better than average cargo capacity.
The fact that you say you 'consistently" hit your tires is not good. I can't even imagine what happens for that split second. That tire has to be stopped or turning slower at moment of impact with all that friction.
Agree with - attach a picture of your suspension. There are ways to raise your 5th wheel an inch or two.

What is your axle rating? Is your springs flat or do they have a arch in them. Hoenstly any 5th wheel over 15,000 lbs should consider morryde IS. Tire blow outs could be just the type / size of tire your running.

What tires are you running? If you are hitting the camper you either have a broken suspension part, bigger tires that are to large for the camper, or you are overloaded. First weight it and get your axle load and compare it to your axle and tire capacity. If all within spec then inspect all your suspension. Hopefully you will find the answer.

Grand Design had the same issue with their Reflection 303 5er. It weight around 600-800 lbs IIRC more on the street side slide. That slide out had the entertainment, range, fridge and pantry in it. Then load it up with all the items in the fridge and pantry and you're over weight on the springs. Most guys added stiffer springs to that side.
I believe GD has remedied the issue as of late.
Barring the obvious like a broken spring or a flat spring you should weigh both sides of the 5er to see what the differences might be.

Yes. I have less than 10,000 miles on the original tires but I'm planning to install Goodyear Endurance tires when I get home.

I only asked because new higher aspect tires could have been the problem. If you are getting new tire, see if you can run with ones that have a smaller diameter.

I have a 2 axle 5th wheel, each is rated at 5200#.
The GVWR is 12,200#.
