5th Wheel Towing with a Leveled Truck

We recently upgraded our truck and camper to a 19 GMC Sierra 2500HD CC 4x4 6.5' bed and an Arctic Wolf 295QSL8.

I've always leveled my previous trucks. However, I am concerned about being nose high with the 5th hooked up.

Is anyone pulling a 5th with a leveled truck?Click image for larger version

Thought about it but didn't, you will be hard pressed not to have 2 inches of squat when you load, likely more. Leveling kit would leave you nose high when loaded.
Interested as well to see if someone is pulling with level kit.

That's what I am waiting to see. I haven't picked up the trailer yet. The pin weight is <1,400lbs.

The trailer will level the truck for you.

after you get the trailer would be the time to see where you're at, level wise.....you can always have new coils made for the front to lift it level, then if back squats to much, add air bags...

I tow with a “leveled” truck. Same front end as yours. Two things make it great:

1. I leveled with a 3.5 kit from Rough Country and left off the rear blocks. The UCAs and diff spacers make for a factory-like ride and good CV angles. Greaseable and serviceable ball joints as well. Best $600 spent.

2. Added AirLift 5000 Ultimate bags with remote control. Increased (and infinity adjustable while driving) dampening as well as perfect stance while towing. I pull several trailers and I can make every trailer I own ride perfectly level, even if my truck is slightly out of level either up or down. $1300 for that kit with installation.

My fiver does not fix anything. In fact, it is usually the cause of fixes needed :/ And my truck does way more things on the road other than towing said fiver. Some of us buy trucks for reasons beyond RVing. But even at that, I would run the Airlift 5000s at any height, they are that good and create a versatility unknown to those without them.
