7 pin wire gauge and fuse size on Ford superduty

Anyone know what ga wire and the fuse size that runs to the 7 pin connector on a 2020 (or thereabouts) Ford Super Duty?

According to this:

https://www.startmycar.com/us/ford/f...anchorfusebox0

Fuse #7 TRAILER TOW BATTERY CHARGE is 30 AMP. 30 AMP would be #10 AWG wire.

...don't be fooled into thinking you're going to get any meaningful charge without a DC to DC charger. ....depending on the length of your typical drive, it may be better to invest in upgraded solar anyhow.

Maybe read OPs signature? 1600w solar, Victron MultiPlus II. They seem to have it covered. I am guessing corn18 is just trying to see how much more power he might be able to gain from the alternator while going down the road through his DC-DC charger.

Where do you see that he has a DC-DC charger? ....that might be why he was asking. If that's the case then TBC673 seems to have him covered.

.... and thanks for pointing out the rest, as you've surmised, I didn't read his signature to notice that he doesn't really need any additional solar.

Cheers,
Dave
