Just ordered a set for my 2016 Ram 1500, SLT Crew Cab, 4x4, 5.7 l Hemi, 8 speed, 3.21 rear.Reviews were good. Anyone here use these or something similar? Just wanted to get feedback by people using them for towing travel trailers to help with the rear end bounce. My trailer is a 2016 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 264BHW. Dry weight 4600lbs.

Haven't installed mine yet; just got them yesterday. 2012 3500 DRW crew cab long bed hauling a 14,600 lb 5er. I'm sure these will level it out and help on these wonderful CA highways.

I have the Air Lift 5000+ kit on my F250 and love em. So nice to be able to adjust for different loads. Air Lift makes a quality product, you will love yours too.

I am already level as I use a Fastway E2 8000lb rated WD/sway hitch just hoping to get rid of a little bounce when hitting bumps on the highway.
I also have LT E rated tires on the Ram. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.

My son has them on his 14 1500. They go inside the rear factory coil spring and they work great. They are not rated for the weight that the 2500 and 3500 ones are but install easy and do the job of lifting a loaded rear.

I don't get it! Why do people buy something and the first thing they do is have to add something to make it do what the properly optioned truck would do right out of the box?

First thing I would do is swap out your tires for the equivalent sized tire in a "E" range, that will do more than anything to firm up the ride. Bilstein 4600's would be next on my list.

Because the 4 corner suspension from dealer is $1500 option compared to the $160 air bags I can do myself and I already said I have e rated tires. I take it you don't have the airbags I asked about but thanks for your 2 cents.

The only reason to add air bags is if your springs sag too much under load. The air bag is just an additional spring that is adjustable. Don't expect any improvement in ride. Yes, I have them, and a wireless controller, it works well for me on an F250 with the well known rear sag.

I installed the Firestone Ride Rite kit on my Tundra and think there great. I have a Reese DC hitch and use the bags to return the truck to its originally height after loading the bed of the truck before I hitch up. By the way I also upgraded to E rated tires like you did.

Missed the "E" tires that is good for sure!

My point I should have spelled it out is why buy a truck that you have to do anything with. As in for you why not get a 2500?

I really don't see what a 1500 with air suspension would do to help you anyway.

I couldn't afford the 2500.

I used them on my F250 to help haul my TC, worked great. I was in the same boat, had the truck, then upgraded RV. We all don't always have $$$$ lying around.

Can't afford the right truck and own an rv? Those dang rv's are expensive. Trucks are everywhere and a buyers market.

I bought the right truck for my tt. All I asked if anyone had experience with the air bags I ordered. Never said the truck didn't come with everything I needed for towing. Just trying to add to the ride that's all.
