First thing they are going to have to do is scan the system and see if their was a airbag fault with a light on in the dash.. Will almost guarantee they will come back with the TT caused a electrical issue. Its your insurance company's job to pay you out for injury and loss and then they would go after the manufacturer.

Sounds totaled to me. Sucks on such a new rig but the main thing is that your family is all right and you'll be OK.
