I have Airtabs on my current 30 foot Class A and had them on my former 29 foot Class C. They do what you say above. They do not "stop" the side suction effect but they reduce it. They are not a magic bullet but do help. In addition I have applied the CHF (Cheap Handling Fix) and put a Safe-T-Plus steering stablizer on my RV and the combination of all these things has made my Winnebago Class A have acceptable handling.
I think they will help on anything that has a retangular box shape with a flat back end, I can't say that they would do much on a SUV or a Pickup Truck
