I don't want to delete, just modify such that the truck will not be restricted to 5 mph when the DEF system is malfunctioning. Emergency vehicles are limited to 60 mph rather than 5 mph, so it is out there. Some states have shut down the emission check stations, mine for one, so many people are deleting. But I don't want to delete, just modify so I don't get restricted to 5 mph. I am sure the DEF malfunction will happen, so I want to be prepared. Being restricted to 5 mph while toddling along to the repair shop would be dangerous. Also would like to run distilled water through it now and then to remove crystallization. I do think the DEF system is needed and will continue to use it, even if it can't be modified.
