I'm picking up a 2017 Ram 3500 Laramie DRW this Saturday and it too had the Nexen tires. Complained to the dealer that a 60k vehicle with $100 tires was something that I couldn't stomach.
Had them replaced with Falken Wildpeak AT3 tires. These tires have stellar reviews and are great for the road conditions out here in W South Dakota.

It surprises me that a full size truck would come with second tier tires. My Dodge 3500 came with General tires.
