B&W hitch for towing 2500 miles - better price options?

Seems to be alot of various hitches.

I recently wired up my Tekonsha P3 brake controller ( got some info here - thank you )

My next step is a 7" drop hitch / ball so I can hook my '07 Yukon up to the 20' cargo trailer.

a friend stated B&W are the best. They should be as they are spendy.

My question is can I get a really good hitch for 30-40% less cost than the $350 for the B&W from Amazon ??

thank you in advance for help

If you are just going to be doing this one tow, look for a fixed 7"drop hitch and get the appropriate size ball for the trailer.

Here are a couple of options...

How heavy will the loaded cargo trailer be? Ther a lot of less expensive hitches than you are finding. Visit a local farm/trailer supply place.

We use B&W hitches on our work trucks and they are great. On the MH, I use a Weigh Sate hitch with a built in scale so that I can make sure the load is positioned for a proper 10 to 15% tongue weight. In my opinion, you get what you pay for when it comes to drop hitches.

best way to lock my ball attach and hitch also??

Looking for best options on the 2x2 inch lock point for my hitch.

Mostly it will be stored in a garage not on my rig. But would like pease of mind as I spend 5 nights travel / motel stays my rig is secured from thiefs.

best locks?

I like that small master lock for the tongue coupler ball thing on trailer itself.
The round style locks for the back drop down ramp door.

Looking for best option for the hitch itself into the 2x2 reciever
