Back Flip Pickup covers---
In the process of looking for a cover for our new Chevy Pick up. Doing a lil research I was interested in the Back Flip product line and curious what experience others have had with this product.
Any comments or suggestions would be very appreciated...

I had this cover it was junk.
I went through 3 of them in 1 month every one of them leaked like crazy through the seams where it folds. I liked the idea behind it maybe if I lived some where more dry would have been better.
I ended up going with a undercover bed cover. Looked better and kept out the elements. And with having a short box truck I could remove and reinstall it myself.
But at the end of the day I sold that cover and bought a snugtop canopy and wish I had gone this route from day one.
Best of luck in your search.

I did some research, and ended up with the Extang Trifecta. It has a soft cover look, but is a trifold with a frame. Removes easily in under 2 minutes with one person. It provides some security, but obviously a sharp knife would allow someone to get in. I like it, fits my needs and keeps the weather out. Amazon had the best prices.

I have a Peragon color match with any color, locks, doesn't interfere with bed use and can be removed in minutes

Unlike 'fastone', I've had great experiences with Bakflip on my 3 trucks over 10+ years. I kept my first one for 8 years until I traded that truck in and it was still in great shape at the end except for a little fading on some of the side trim.
I never had any issues with leaking through the folds. I would get some leaking from the corners in a heavy rain, but I never had an expectation that it would be water tight. Plus, I believe the bakflip is the only folding hard cover that flips all the way forward, giving you access to the entire bed if needed.
Very happy with mine.

Yes it was to bad because I really liked the whole idea behind it. But living here in BC Canada maybe it was to much rain for it. That is why I can't recommend this to be a good product.
But good to hear yours have worked well for you.

I have heard only good things about BakFlip. Sorry to hear Fastone is not one of those happy owners.
I couldn't use one anyway. I have a generator in the back that sticks above the bed rails and had to go with a Truxedo Truxport soft cover. But it at least works well for what it is.

There are a lot of choices out there and it really helps to listen to some of your reviews here to narrow it down some. I have a local dealer close to me that carries Bakflip and will take a look at them this weekend. Have also done a lil research on Peragon and most people seem to rate it pretty high.
Thanks for all the help.....

Fold a cover is another brand that does pretty well.

We looked around at covers for our truck but found the flat ones were as expensive as the canopy which we found at a great price used. Now we don't have to worry about keeping things flat and we know we'll get to the campsite dry.

Never really had a problem with mine. I've had mine for 7 years. I'll buy another one when I get another truck.
