I put a double din kenwood in my truck and it has a backup camera option without another screen. Id probably buy one but the truck doesnt get backed up without a camera except maybe a couple times a year.

I also have a Kenwood stereo which gives me the screen and bluetooth connectivity. I have a camera mounted above the licence plate that connects to it and auto engages when put in reverse- works great

I picked up a remote stand alone camera from RVS. SKU
RVS-83112-WIFI
WIFI HITCH CAMERA
It has a magnetic base and uses a wifi connection to your smart phone. You can set the camera anywhere for best view for hitching up or alignment in a tight spot near a curb/obstacle. Makes a great second set of eyes (eye that is).

I don’t have a backup camera on my 2013 Ram 2500, so installed the Hopkins smart hitch backup camera. Paid $85. Most of the time I’m hitching solo, and I find it useful to use the camera.

My Vakry camera I mounted on my TT was available with a second free camera. When hitching, I mount the second camera on the tailgate using magnets. My truck has a back-up cam, but the Vakry gives me such a high def image that I dispensed wth the dw for hitching. Now she wants to know why she is needed on camping trips. I’m afraid to answer that question.
