Backup camera for TT
Can anyone recommend a trailer mounted backup camera that will display on the screen in my 2019 bighorn? I'm learning toward the Furion Vision S Wireless -- requires a separate screen to be mounted on my dashboard, which I don't love. But half a day of looking hadn't turned up anything that works with the existing screen, figured I'd ask the experts.
The 2019 Bighorn has a Uconnect 7" screen in it.
Thanks in advance.

First off, no I can’t recommend any camera. I too wanted a camera system that would display in my Ford’s Sync display. At that time the only way I was going to be able to do that was a hardwired camera. I too thought I didn’t want another display and related power wires on my dash. I’m glad I didn’t go that route. I have the Furion Vision S. It’s an “OK” camera and display. What I’ve found is that I’m much more interested in what’s behind me while driving down the road than I am when I’m backing up. I actually find the camera distracting when I’m backing up. A little bit of too much information I suppose.
The other point for me at least is I need my Navigation and the backup camera a lot more than I thought I would. Rolling through multi lane construction zones with a lot of lane switching and I’m glad I have two displays.
Just some thoughts
Cheers

I am going to second the 2 displays have an advantage.
I also find the camera is better for driving than backing, but that may change with experience.

Another vote for separate screen. I run the navigation on the truck screen and the view back while driving to see what is hiding behind the trailer. I am using a wireless system which is not ideal regarding lag time and choppy images but good enough for that purpose.
Actually I have 2 cameras in the back: one for watching traffic and one to look down near the back end. I don't really need it while backing up per se. but it is helpful to see how close I can get to that rock, bush, pole etc.

I have the Furion Vision S as well. It's more pricey but I think its worth it.
Like others stated, I adjust mine ( the camera ) more to traffic behind me than for backing.

I have a 2021 Bighorn 2500 and my Furion camera will not display on the screen.
The TPMS won't either.

Looked at the Furrion, went with Haloview instead. Got the side marker cameras as well. Don’t use it for backing up but for driving in traffic, it is incredible! Use split view on the monitor, you can see everything!

I also have the Haloview and love it. I mount mine on the windshield next to the rearview mirror. When I am driving it's in a natural position to take place of the mirror. It leaves my truck screen visible for both GPS (when not using the RV GPS app) and the radio.
I tried the Furrion and was unhappy with the functionality of it at the price point.
