We just purchased a diesel pickup and set it up to tow. It has two batteries.

Has anyone installed battery disconnects for this configuration?

Why? Battery disconnects between the 2 truck batteries or what? What are you wanting to accomplish?

I think your in the wrong forum.

If you want to flat tow this truck behind a MH, you should post in toads and towing.

Are you towing the new truck or towing WITH the new truck?

If you want a disconnect on the batteries you can usually do just one or you can do two, your choice. Most dual batteries have one battery with a cable that connects the positives together. You can put a disconnect on each positive or just one on the side that is feeding the entire truck.

What truck is it?

Our Ford SD won't start with one battery.....diesel's draw lots of amps to overcome the high compression.

What are you trying to accomplish? Confused.
