Best tow vehicle rear tires?

I don't think you can get high mileage and excellent off road traction in the same tire. I ran BFG All Terrains for a lot of those years and they had about the best off road traction you could get without going to something extreme. I found. I could never get more than 35-40K out of them.

We have ribbed on our diesel. They are crap in ice and snow. I can get places but with extreme care. Since I do not use them very often (and plan not to use them at all) in ice and snow they are adequate for my purposes. Do not need deep lug for sure on the interstates when I am in Yuma for the winter.
