Brake Controller advice needed
Will be picking up a Starcraft Autumn Ridge 26BH next Saturday. Will be towing with an 05 Chevy Tahoe with tow package.
Looking for advice on what Brake Controller I need to purchase. Thanks in advance for any input.

Have to agree with Old-Biscuit. Tekonsha is the go-to brand. I have owned the Voyager, Primus, and have recently upgraded to the Prodigy. They will all do the job, but in my mind, the P3 is better with more power and smoother applications of power to the brakes.

Prodigy by Tekonsha is the only way to go. P3 is the best but a P2 will work fine for you. Be sure to get the Chevrolet wiring harness adapter for easy installation. Once it is installed, all the wiring should be there, You will have to connect it to power at the fuse box under the hood and insert the fuse.

I have owned the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller and it worked flawlessly.

Any proportional control is better than any timer based control.

I doubt you'll find any TBC in stock at any WalMart store, but you can order them from WalMart.com. WalMart has learned from Amazon to rely more on the web for items that don't have enough demand to stock in store inventory.
