I found a used long bed F350 DRW that has one of those "ranch hand" type rear bumpers that is as wide as the dually fender flairs. Would this type of bumper's corners hit the fiver when turning tight? My pin to fiver distance where the fiver front drops down to the lower front is such now that I can open my tailgate with the fiver hooked up with room to spare and not hit the fiver with the open tailgate if the truck/trailer is straight.
Anybody have a wide bumper like that?

Sort of - the body on my truck is a full 8 feet wide from the back of the cab all the way to the bumper - that's 8 1/2 feet of body! With my hitch mounted directly over the axle I can turn a full 90 degrees if I need to, although that puts a lot of stress on the trailer suspension, axles, bearings, wheels, and tires!
Of course my truck is not a pickup truck ...

How are all my former brothers in the IBWP (International Brotherhood of Weight Police) doing? I miss all you guys since I was booted out!

Rusty would have to sell his beloved CTD and get a FORD Tow Boss as a minimum. Of course he could go larger and order a truck with a Cummins.
I don't think that will happen in my life time.
