We have a 2015 GMC Denali 3500 CC SB with pull Rite slider, pulling a 40ft 5er with no problem. I did add air bags which did improve the ride. With parking spaces as short as they are, sometimes with CC SB are tight.
Safe travels

While it was not a consideration I based my purchase on, getting the standard bed allows me to park in the garage with several inches to spare. After removing a section of shelving of course.

I have a short bed mega cab while cute it has a 50 gal fuel tank in the bed . If you don't need it for work then it is fine. Towing 14000 for 3 years 35000 no problem. I have a slider but have never used it. Hensly trailer saver hitch ,expensive but worth it !

Having used both a Pull-Rite and an Andersen, I enthusiastically recommend the Andersen!

The Pull-Rite is a good hitch and will keep your front cap from contacting your cab and/or back window. The price you pay for that is clanging and banging on launchs and stops, difficulty in unhitching and the need to be perfectly centered when hitching. If you're not perfectly centered, the hitch head will spin and jam onto the pin without locking the jaws. When that happens, the only way to get the head off of the pin is to climb into the bed, detach the head from the hitch, lift the head off of the hitch with the landing gear, pull the head off of the pin, reinstall the head and try again. Also, to successfully hitch, you also have to slam the pin into the hitch pretty hard to lock the jaws - to the point that I pushed my 5er back an inch or 2 on many occassions.
