Dad was in the USCG and we mostly tent camped our way across country each time he got transferred to a new duty station. Meeting other kids and running around was one of the highlights of camping in those days, often a new group every day as we worked our way East or West.

As adults we tend to be less interested in interacting that much with other campers, other than some good friends we camp with who also have TTs. We're friendly and will chat but we're often getting away from the kids/grandkids/drama and not really looking for the social interaction that some folks enjoy. Kind of the same with our sailboat too, we don't do the yacht club thing but have some friends we'll cruise with if the opportunity comes up.

I pretty much had the cooler or back heater running on low most of the time on our cross country trip. Heater was for my back which was sore before we started. 3 days of driving with low heat and it felt great!

the ventilated leather seats are nice but I would like to have the rear a/c heat register on the back of the console that I had on my old avalanche. I live in the dfw area and that is the first thing passengers go for when they hop in the backseat.

I would love to have a 14 right now. My 08 is going to do just fine especially when I throw the Paxton Supercharger at it. The ls Motors love boost. Yes I would love to have a Duramax got to make what I have work.

That's awesome!!!!

What do you use for tuning? and has it been reliable as far as running or does it get quirky with weather changes?

Once I do it I may even go with the elderbrock root system just depends on what happens when you have the money to do it. I know a guy who does custom tuning for GM vehicles only he does a lot of Corvettes Camaros and trans am's. As of reliability as long as you're not beating it up all the time it should do just fine. Living with funny weather changes luckily Florida doesn't get too drastic on changes so I think it would be fine on that aspect of it also.
