Camco warranty

So - most of the reviews you see for products online are almost always 'This product sucks, it broken and they won't repair it' when it broke either under extreme use, or LONG beyond warranty expiration.

We bought our camper 3/2020 and with it, picked up a Camco Eaz-Lift Trekker weight distribution/sway control with the 1000lb bars. Never had a problem with the unit, it's always done everything we've asked and more. On one of our recent trips, I noticed something off with the bottom of the unit.

Looked like one of the set screws/sockets/whatever you want to call it backed off and disappeared somewhere. Took it easy the last 400miles home and had no clue where I lost the part. It was there on the previous 2500 mile trip so lost it somewhere during this last 4hr drive. No big deal, a quick check of the Camco parts site for a replacement...and nothing is listed :(

Email them to ask if they sell it. They reply with 'Please send a picture of the bottom side of the assembly'. I send them the same picture, their response was 'The replacement ball mount and bolt pack will leave out soon. Thank you.'.

Wasn't even expecting a whole new assembly, but shoot! It's been almost 18 months since I purchased it with well over 10k miles towing.

A++ for customer service.
A++ for standing behind their product.

Reese is at least that good. Lifetime warranty. After 45,000 miles a dual cam arm snapped. Called, emailed pictures of the part and the break area and a new one was on the way! No stress, no fuss just good things for the customer.
