Looking for info on the Load Range "E" tire

Thinking of replacing the Maaxis ST225/75R15 Load Range "D" with the Carlisle ST225/75R15 Load Range "E"

Have read alot of threads with unhappy results from the load range "D" but nothing on the load range "E"

Heard today that Cooper tire bought out Carlisle tire, always thought Cooper made a decent tire.

Tires will be installed on a Arctic Fox 27-5L CVW=13,000 lbs. Front & rear axle rating= 5,200lbs

Thanks for any insight,
Ginzo

I had the Carlisle tires on my last trailer. The were fine. Watch your tire dealer though. The place I bought the tires from delivered bias ply tires instead of radials. When I called them on it they first said that there was no such thing as a radial trailer tire, then they claimed that Carlisle did not make a radial. When I showed them the website they changed their tune.

I have Carlisle's on my 24 ft enclosed race trailer and on my 30ft fifth wheel. So far no problems. One set is 3 years old the other is 2. Approx 20,000 miles on the race trailer and 10,000 on the 5th. I put the Carlisles on because I was tired of replacing fenders from Goodyear blow outs.
