Cat Scale Numbers
Hey guys, just weighed the truck, 2020 1500 Bighorn, 5.7 etorque, 3.92, payload 1616. trailer is a 2021 Forest River, Wildwood WDT24RLXL, 28.11 with hitch, 24.11 without hitch. Just wanting some input on the weights here, I think I have it in around 13% tongue weight. Was able to get the front back to within 80 pounds if I am reading these correct. Taking off monday for Zion, and just double checking numbers. Thanks folks.

The numbers look ok to me. How does it feel going at highway speeds? Getting most of the weight back on the front axle is pretty good.

Id be happy with that. Should tow really nice. You might even be able to get away with loosening it up a hair if its too stiff.

Weights look good to me, but I also like to measure the ride height. Tow with a 2017 Ram 1500 Longhorn with 3.92 which I appreciate out here in the NW mountain passes. My front is just slightly higher by 1/4 inch with the trailer attached. How does it handle, slight adjustments in the WDH can make a big difference in the overall feel especially in a 1/2 ton truck.
Love Zion, and Watchman Campground, but has been difficult getting a spot. Have camped there for years, and never a problem, but now for some reason I can’t seem to be quick enough on the 10:00 am EST release on the rec.gov website.

I did measure before I went to the scale. Measured the truck front fenders before the trailer was on, then lowered the trailer and added the weight distribution hitch, front raised 1/4 inch. So glad its right in line with yours. thank you for your information.

If you’re ok with boondocking, there’s Gooseberry Mesa. May be crowded because of covid, but beautiful.

Should have also asked about the trailer. Is it level, or nose down in front? Don’t want the front up higher.
