In February I purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 with a sticker of almost $50K for under $34K. If its what you want and will do what you want it to do, go for it.
That ad sounds like it was written by a slimy salesman. I don't see a $14,000 rebate/incentive from Ram. But there is a $4,500 incentive on the 2019 3/4 ton and $5,000 off the 2019 1-ton. https://www.ramtrucks.com/lineup.inc...app=incentives
I think 150/1500 series trucks do have a place. Especially the big GM 1500 series trucks with 1,800 - 2,100lbs. of cargo capacity. They can tow comfortable travel trailers with 1 slide.
But in about an hour I am going to get in my F-250 and go get groceries.

As soon as I finish my coffee I'm getting in my 2500 to commute to work
I drove my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab to work today. I sold my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi and bought a 2017 F350 drw. 1500s/150s are good for daily drivers if you tow go for the 2500,F250/3500,F350. There are some great deals on trucks right now
