^^ A good PSA above. When it comes to RVs, or many other trailers, just being new, does not mean GTG. Not wanting to take away from OP, but will add my 5 cents.

I've purchased many new trailers, as well as RVs, and can only remember one that actually was ready to go, didn't need anything. Often times new bearings appeared to have just a finger full of grease wiped around them. New brakes always need adjustment soon, as they wear in. We all know how long it takes to correct poor quality control concerning new RVs.

Yep; good call. Sad but true that new doesn't mean right - I've taken to having all my new trailers brakes inspected, set and bearings greased shortly after purchase.

I've gotten in the habit of having an end to end done before we even go out the first trip.

Fortunately, at least with the current rig, we have a good dealer, small shop, extremely helpful. Guy who runs service is top notch and knows his stuff...they've fixed things at no cost on several occasions even with the camper now being out of warranty.

We got lucky that there haven't been any large issues with our Passport, since it's a covid build....
