I'm thinking I should lower my companion arms. I have 1 inch lower I can go here on these arms. My driveway slopes a little in the back so I can't quite tell if that is what makes this appear nose high or not.

Can you give this hitch up a grade?

I have about 10 inches between the bed rail and the front of the cab, about 9 inches at the tailgate

ive got a companion and used it on a former 5th wheel i owned. Adjusted it all the way down and was still too high. This was on a ram 3500 srw 4x4. My only other option was to flip the axels so i sold it and going back to a TT.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to get some specific advice on this specific situation today, as I need to tow the unit to have it inspected for the state.

I'm trying to decide if its fine to go like this, or if I should lower the arms before I go.

I compared my driveway and the floor of the coach with a level and I show a .8 degree difference. 1.5 degree slope on the driveway right under the door, 2.3 degree slope on the floor of the coach at the door.

It's fine. While you're out measure the difference in height between the front and rear floor of the trailer while parked on a more level surface to see if you've got a huge problem.

I drove it like this to the inspection place, probably 8 miles each way.. it behaved pretty good. At 60 MPH it felt like nothing was back there.

Red light to red light, all I could hear was fuel being sucked out of the tank

You probably used slighly less than 2 gallons of fuel. Probably 1.7 gallons Is my guess.

I hear that sucking sound if I am towing uphill and into a headwind.

I can tell when I have a strong tailwind. That is the best!!![emoji106]
