DiamondBack ATV truck cover and 2018 3500 Dodge Dually

Is anyone using the DiamondBack side load ATV truck cover with a later model 3500 Dodge Dually. How close are the back fenders to the ramps?

Hi, thiswebs4u, and and to our campfire.

Here's a link to the website, in case anyone cares to see what you're discussing.

They don't show any duallys in their photos. But I'll bet any ole farm boy could barnyard-engineer a way to load the quads onto the bed if the stock ramps wouldn't work without modification.

If you don't have an 8' bed, then you must order the bed extension deck to haul two quads.

And it appears the side-loading hardware is an option, not standard.

Looks like someone has done it:

Measuring from the top of the bed to where it hooks up is 4.25 inches. It just might make it.

I have a dually on order but will take 8 weeks from Dodge, good thing, I have to sell my current truck they wanted to give me 10k below Kelly blue book trade in so I said no. They didn't have one long bed dually, just a bunch with the 6 4' bed with and mega cab. Not pulling with a short bed no more, the SuperGlide hitch was no fun to keep up. Broke and had to weld it a couple times.

My current truck has just over 6k which is good for a 2 year old deisel truck.

Currently my set up is a 2016 2500 Dodge Ram Diesel single axle and I pull a 221rbsl Kodiak. I have had no problems loading unloading the atvs on the Diamond Back.

Reason for the Dually is we wanted a Toy Hauler that doubles as a place in South during the winters.

Just joined so don't have a signature yet.
