Did I go over my tongue weight capacity?

Soooo I ordered the Jayco 264bhok. Thatís great. Got a Ram 2500. Cool. I just saw and processed the published tongue weight of 1015lb. It was published at 760 for the 2019 model year. I assumed maybe they put a loaded weight on the specs this year. Can this be right. The dry tongue is 1015lb. So loaded what would it be? The max weight of a class v is 1200lb. Am I missing something on this HT trailer?

Spec page shows a gross weight (GVWR) of 6000#. You loaded pin weight will be closer to 720# if it follows the roughly 12% rule.

Itís the 264bhok not the 264bh. The gvwr is 9995. I just saw that with wd the tongue goes up to max 1700lb. Soooo nevermind. Itís a heavy trailer tho.

Likely. 1050 lbs is about 13% of dry weight. So, it would be 1300 lbs when fully loaded. With WDH, it would be over 1500 lbs downward force on the receiver. 2.5” receiver is rated from 1200-1600 lbs. So, you’ll be over your hitch rating. Maybe replace with the 3” receiver?

I would expect that trailer loaded and ready to travel is going to put 1400lbs on your hitch. the bare min you need 1200lb rated bars and a hitch rated at least that much.

I have a 2019 Ram 3500. Receiver rating is 1800 lbs. Haven't seen anything about 2" vs 2.5".

The truck's published tongue weight limit is for deadweight without a weight distribution hitch.
