I can guess on the charge time though based on our own Supercharger experiences. I would think an 80 percent charge would be around 30 to 40 minutes at a V3 Supercharger. So plan on lunch. But I'm guessing based on a 15 to 20 minute average charge stop for us. But our battery is probably less than half the size.
Just carry a big construction generator... just like adding an extra gas tank [emoji16]

Heh heh. It wouldn’t work. A V3 Supercharge charges at about 250 KW. A construction generator might be 10 KW. So you would need about 25 of them. .

Cheers.

I don’t know. Depending what you need the truck to do I guess. But so far the electric trucks are coming in about the same price as their gas counterparts, or at least the Tesla and Rivians. Ford hasn’t published prices yet. And the electrics will be considerable cheaper to run and maintain if they are anything like other EV’s. And for the high performance sport truck fans the electrics will eat the gassers for breakfast.

Time will tell.

Tesla cyber “truck”

Ugly?
How about FUGLY
Only Delorean himself could find the Tesla version of Honda’s Ridgeline even a little bit “interesting”.
At least Rivian hired some design engineers when they set out to build an all new electric truck.

I have a Tesla MX and it's an amazing car, definitely on board with electric vehicles. I put down the reservation payment on the CT because I think it might be a cool vehicle, but I would not replace my truck with it for "truck things" like towing or dependable off roading.

Howdy Jayc. Hey I wonder if you could check or explain something for me.

1. If you hook up a trailer behind the Model X does it disable the autopilot?

2. Do the back up sensors get disabled so when you are backing they don’t become annoying?

I’m just wondering if when the harness is plugged in if it tells the computer to shut down the rear sensor notification.

Thanks.

'FUGLY' is too kind! And I don't care how good anything Tesla is -
they'll get my money just as soon as I move to China.
