So ford half ton 4x4 ‘s don’t have sides then????

What trunk? It has a frunk and a truck box. Where’s the trunk.

One thing its not is a pickup. Have you looked at it? Or is just the nameplate tesla enough to determine how awesome you think it is? Frunk? Maybe not a straight trunk, but a hatchback, like a crx.

Wait. By the trunk are you referring to the lockable tool box in the bottom of the cybertruck bed? Does the ford even have one of these?

No, because there is no bed.

I can't believe they did this nonsense again, and that people are eating it up again. A tug of war, as has been said, is a measure of tire traction only. Which is a function of tire size, material, tread pattern, and most importantly--vehicle weight. Extra weight can make you win a tug of war, but it definitely doesn't make your vehicle better. In real driving conditions, the only time traction is a limiting factor of a tow vehicle is when the driving surface is bad. It could be soft, it could be wet, it could be icy. Extra weight only helps in the wet.

Youve never needed a pickup bed if you think a hatchback is an acceptable replacement for a bed

Sounds like some people are butthurt over ANY negative comment on the famed electric brand. This ...THING is just not a tow vehicle in the sense of what is meant for in this forum. It certainly isn't a pickup any more than I consider a Honda Ridgeline or even a Chevy Avalanche a pickup.

Yeah, First off they had the F-150 rolling backwards BEFORE they started the tug-o-war. secondly if they started from a dead stop the results may have been different or at least more believable. Not saying the Tesla would have won hands down but electric servo type motors do have a tremendous amount of torque. I think I'll stick with my good ol' gas guzzling fossil fuel pickup truck....

So why are there so many styles of passenger cars? If one and only design can be called a truck then one and only design is needed for cars.

Trucks have evolved over the years just as cars have. Both will continue to evolve in the future. Part of Musk's goal was to challenge the very static design of today's pickup. People have proven he's excelled at doing that. What you would think if the next truck from Musk looks like any other pickup?

What's going to be your naysay for the EC truck from Ford? Bet that will look like most Ford trucks today. Just cost lots more than the Cybertruck.
