Ford hasn’t said anything about weight yet. I suspect suspension parts lifetime will be comparable to gassers. EV’s use ordinary tires for the most part.

EV’s are super popular in countries like Norway, Canada etc as well as Spain and the Southern US. I’m sure the E F150 will be fine in most conditions.
We have done 5 winters in an EV. You lose range but hasn’t been a problem. It’s actually kinda cool being able to prewarm in winter or precool in summer just by using a phone app.

I watched another ford promo video on their E-truck but no mention if the hood is going to be a storage area. There should be nothing under there so I can’t see why it wouldn’t be a “Frunk”.

Probably because that's what most of them are now.

I saw a video that showed a Tesla with worn tires and the mechanic said what you save in gasoline you pay in tires. Now the Tesla has a huge heavy battery. Also the mechanic was explaining why the suspension parts wear out faster.

On September 8th I pick-up a rental car which I have reserved. It is a 2020 Corolla hybrid. I will drive this car between 4,000 and 5,000 miles in 3 weeks. My good friend has bought two Toyota Prius's. The Corolla Hybrid I think is a Prius with a Corolla body. Anyway - I will report back after I have 1,000 miles on it.

Oh - I am expecting to get 52 mpg.

Most of what are now? Nobody is building an electric truck yet.

If you are talking about EV’s in general you are misinformed on modern EV capability.

I would be interested in hearing more. My tires don’t last any longer or shorter than when I drove gas or diesel vehicles.

Sorry, I should have said F150's.

I know a lot of people that drive them and never leave the pavement or town.

Happy Glamping.
