Ford trailer TPMS ?

Does anyone have any experience with the factory trailer TPMS. I ordered a 2020 f250 with the trailer TPMS ($500). When the truck comes in, the invoice on the the TPMS is $50 and no TPMS Kit. The salesman tells me he will send me the trailer sensors and I don't need to the kit that has the repeater. Is he right. Thanks.

I ordered on my 2017 F350. It comes with 4 tpms sensors, a add on plug that mounts under the 7 pin plug and plugs into the trucks harness, a wiring harness that mounts on the trailer and a sensor for the tpms that mounts under the trailer. Mine also came with the rear camera. That's a extra harness and the camera.

That's how my 17 came as well. Still have the camera and wiring harness as my 5th wheel had a camera. The tpms worked great.

My question is, will the truck read the sensors without the repeater. I don’t think so. I think he ordered the wrong thing for me and I don’t want to wast my time and money installing the sensors in the wheels if there not going to work.

You need the receiver under the trailer that is wired to the truck through the extra plug. Does the truck have the extra wiring harness for the extra plug? My tpms kit with the camera was $750.00 when I ordered my truck
