I never use my trucks for gravel, bark, sand etc. I have a 5x10 utility trailer for that. Sometimes it's a PITA to use it but I don't want any unnecessary damage done to my truck. I'm not talking about the bed of the truck but the cab or sides can get accidently dinged up when loading or unloading yard materials.
In the past I've thrown a blue tarp in the bed and laid it over the bed sides so the guy with the front loader doesn't drop pieces of 3/4 minus on the bed sides. But thats another PITA when unloading the gravel or sand.

If you want a new truck then get one, but 90,000 miles is no reason to worry. 312,000 on my truck

Not a truck

I just gave my 07 Fusion to my brother when I retired in July, now has 275,000 miles on it, still original clutch belt and hoses, I’d drive it across country in a minute

Get your 100,000 mile maintenance done and keep on trucking for another 100K…Transmission fluid, differential fluid, brake fluid, cooling system flush, shock absorbers, spark plugs.

I sure enjoy the new hybrid f150. Boondocking is easy and quite. Automatically kicks on every 30 to 45 minutes to recharge battery and is very quite. Only problem is it maybe hard to find and overpriced because of chip shortage.

Look up the video

ECOBOOST TORTURE TEST

Compared to that you haven't even broken in your truck!

Most likely NOT. Those cane be VERY expensive to replace! The most expensive new trucks are cheap in comparison.

This is probably the worst time in the last 50 years to buy a vehicle. Prices are high, selection is low, some options you can't even order, and if you do order it takes a really long time to get built.

90,000 miles is NOT high miles. My daily driven work truck that I bought new in 2005 has 298,000 miles on it and still going strong. My 2009 Suburban that I use to pull the boat has 132,000 on it; I plan to use it to pull an RV to Texas later this summer. My wife's car is a 2012 Impala with 93,000 on it. I hope to get another 10 years or so out of the car. The last family car, a 2010 Buick, was sold with well over 200,000 on it because the transmission was giving some trouble.

I agree that maintenance is the key. Every 5k my truck gets new Mobil 1 and a good quality filter. Every two years I swap out the brake fluid and have the tranny and pumpkins/ transfer case serviced. Last RAM I owned had just short of 300 K and was running great, wanted a newer truck with all the new technology.

No problems so far. 90,000 is not to many miles on that motor. Guessing the wife just wants a dfferent color on the TV.😜

I'd wait on that new truck.
82% of dealer are selling over MSRP.
And when you do, don't buy a diesel.

We bought a new F-150 in 2010. I believe we had about 25,000 when we sold it to our SIL. It's still going strong. To answer the question from several posts ago as to why we are seeing more trucks on the roads Ford, and probable the other manufacturers as well doing a great job of providing a great riding, quiet and comfortable truck.

Based on the improvements I think we can drop the old phrase, "Man this thing rides like a truck."
