Your problems comes up with certain pin boxes and the Anderson hitch system every once in a while.
Like old-biscuit points out the Anderson can be turned fore or aft. Contact them for their input.

Looking at Grand Design Momentum shows a 15900 dry weight with a 4100 ccc and a 20000 lb gvwr.
Your 3500 DRW trucks shows a 22700 lb-23000 lb tow ratings depending on cab selections and with those big 9375 rawr there is no way the trailer is too much for that size truck. ....good match.

It was originally listed as a 2015 Chevy 3/4 ton, it has been updated since those 2 posts.

I really like my B & W Custom Truck Bed Lots Of storage. I know, has nothing to do with the OP's problem.

How about raising your ball on the Anderson hitch. I have mine on the top position so the pin box has clearance. I also had to raise the FW to make level.

Yes....I already have the Andersen ball up on it's third hole...wish they made one with 4 holes in it. How do you "raise" the FW?

How about the pin box can you lower it thus making the angle if the pin box larger in return more clearance. I don’t seen if you answered if you have the Anderson adapter turned so the hookup is closer to the FW this would move your pin box more into the truck box away from the tailgate?

First of all where is the hitch hitting the truck. Some of the longer pinboxes whether you move them forward or back are still contacting the box siderails. Moving hitch or pinbox up or down may not help. Most times it is the metal ears at the back of the pinbox that are catching. These can be trimmed with a seawall. Pics would help

I answered that in post #11 on page 1.

"So the most common fix is to "flip the axles" on the trailer. They don't actually turn over the axle, but instead they move the springs from under the axle to over the axle, which raises the trailer about 3 or 4 inches."

So-called flipping the axles requires cutting off the spring perches and welding them back on over the axle.

You can also raise the trailer a bit by replacing the spring shackles with slightly longer heavier-duty shackles.

Flipping the axles works only on trailers that have leaf spring suspension. If you have Dexter TorFlex axles, then Dexter makes a kit that will raise the trailer a bit.
" K71-725-02: Frame Spacer Kit - Fits Dexter Torflex #12 axles. Increases ride by 3.13", for two axles.

I also have an Andersen hitch. I have the king pin adapter mounted so that the ball socket is behind the king pin. This allows the pin box to rotate inside the bed, not contact the rails and still have enough cab-to-cap clearance for turning. I have the ball set in the middle position and I have 5 1/2" clearance at the tail gate.

The Andersen is a great hitch. With a minor adjustment or two, I'm sure you'll love yours. We just completed a 12,000 mile trip - no problemo. I have towed at least 25,000 total miles with the Andersen and I can't imagine going back to a conventional hitch.

Happy trails,

Thanks for the suggestion Bill!! That's very interesting how you put the adapter on the kingpin kind of backwards. Does it still secure on there with the 4 set screws as it normally does?

Yes, Tom it installs the same way. For a long bed truck, it's the way to go. I would not install yours the way I have mine if you have a short bed truck due to cab clearance concerns when turning.
