ALL gassers will scream on the grades due to the fact they don't make max horsepower and torque until the higher rpms..hence, the screaming. At low rpm, gassers just don't have the power/torque to do the job. Just the nature of the beast.

Get a 2500 Ram with air ride if you can swing it. If you get a bigger trl you will have a enough truck to do the job . If not go with the 1500 ecodiesel air ride. Great fuel mileage and a ride that can't be matched. 5 link airide rear suspension.
