Good point. If they drink a lot of beer, they'll probably want a floor plan with a larger indoor fridge and an outdoor one.

It's really subjective and related to experience and actual weights over opinion. However I tow what's in my signature with what's in my signature, and the TT weighs in a little shy of 10k loaded and I use a Husky Centerline properly set up which is well-sufficient to tame both the TV and the TT. Very comfortable towing at 62-65mph which is my limit all day long, 14mpg, and I can stop safely as well. My camper is 37' long. Make sure whatever you do that you WEIGH your truck and camper and KNOW your numbers for both your TV, the hitch, and the camper, and for heavens sake take it easy out there and enjoy the trip! The heavier and more powerful your TV, the more weight and length you can safely tow.

What do you want to do? Where do you want to camp? How many people? More information will be better.

I am actually very thankful I saw this post because my wife is looking at a 37’ travel trailer gvwr 10,500. I’ll be pulling it with a 2017 F350ccsb 6.7. The camper is longer than I’d like but if I drive smart this should be no problem.

A 37 foot tow behind trailer is huge. If the trailer is used for camping/RVing, I’m going to say that you should get the shortest trailer that you can comfortably live with. I have a 25’ now. It’s plenty long enough to be a pain in the butt at times. If you are just doing pull thrus on a pad I guess you can get a 36-38 footer. I prefer to enjoy myself and to eliminate future stresses. My friends with 30+ footers all say the same thing, 20 min before they get somewhere they get that pit in their stomach hoping that it isn’t a miserable time getting it set up. Fighting with the wife. Navigating around things. And I’m talking about people with cdl’s.
