Level Kit ?

Have a 2015 F-150. I want to put a level kit on it. Will that effect the towing?

Thanks

How about telling us what a level kit is?

It raises the front end of the truck by a couple inches so the truck sits level.

No it won't hurt a thing. Only issue is if you're towing a travel trailer then the front of the truck could possible be higher than the rear. As long as you return the front of the truck back to 50% or less than the unhitched height you'll be fine.

I had a leveling kit on my previous gen F150. It didn't change the towing handling, but I did find that my headlights were pointed into oncoming traffic afterwards. Ended up adding an extra leaf to get the rake back a bit.
Head to a couple F150 forums. A number of users are experiencing some real attitude changes with the new gen 150s and lifts/ levels. It's worth noting a few aren't finding it as stable as the previous gen.

O.K., a 'Level kit' doesn't involve jacks like on a RV. My question is, why is the rear higher than the front? Do you have additional suspension in the rear to support an additional load? Does it sit level when you hook up your trailer? Why not install air bag suspension to adjust for various loading conditions?

The OEM height is typically higher in the rear to accommodate loads so that when you haul rather than squatting or "bulldogging" the truck levels out instead. The idea behind a levelling kit is to raise the nose a bit to level the rig out- some guys prefer that stance. The downfall is- that will change the behaviour of the loaded truck and negate the purpose of the rake.

Likely, a levelling kit up front and some bags in the rear to offset the extra perceived sag from pitching the nose up will be fine

I had my old truck leveled, when I towed it changed the stance and effected handling substantially.

Level kit it for apearance not function...pick one

Had leveling kits on my 2011 and 2015 F-150s. As mentioned you'll likely need bags (inexpensive and easy to install in your driveway) on the back to level it out with a heavy trailer in tow. Wasn't a an issue towing my 4500# boat, but the headlights did go a bit high with my 6500# TT hooked up.
