As others have stated the answer is NO. We pull some heavy GN trailers, and the absolute limit is under 25k to stay under GVWR as well as GAWR. Period.

They can cheat a simple SAE test and pull a hill with low gears to hit sky-high tow ratings for the brochures-but they can’t cheat the Class 3 limits. 14k MAX GVWR on a pickup. We refer to that as the “Class Ceiling” the pickups have now all reached.

Ironically they don’t play these games with the MDTs- the customer base is too knowledgeable. That’s why a 4500 is rated to tow LESS than a 3500.

Thank you the question has been answered. I thought about it. And the thought was maybe it would sneak under the new limits of these 3500 series on steroids. But clearly my inital thought of no they cant was true. Also reviewing weigh tickets makes me want to put my rig on a diet.
