If you plan to use your TV as a daily the full size truck is a problem. But if you buy the terra it will most likely be new and if you do change to a dedicated TV and sell the terra you will take a beating. So rent or buy used for a while to see what you really want.
One thing every one will agree on, no rig is perfect.
One thing most will agree on, your first camper will be sold in a year or 2.

I don't know the Ridgeline trucks, it seems there are folks who have had them and it would seem you're okay to tow the particular trailer you want.

If the truck does not have a brake controller installed factory the dealer can install one for you.

It seems you know what you want and how it integrates with your camping style. Knowing what you want and what works is 75% of the battle. Next is the fun part.

And for those that want the easy button for trailer brakes on a vehicle not factory equipped, the newer wireless brake controllers work just fine. Although admittedly probably more for the occasional tow-er.
