Looks like you changed the mirrors - what was wrong with the flip and folds?
However that looks like a nice truck - should handle that 5th wheel just fine - but can you pass up a gas station

Talking

Well the drivers side rotted out inside, so had to take it off before it fell off, took one of our transit bus mirrors that actually is supposed to sit vertically and it fit on the horizontal shaft, so it ended up a temporary fix till I can get one put together from some old ford mirrors I have.
But I did like this one and if it was in the proper vertical orientation it would be ideal as it has not only the flat mirror in it but also on the bottom a convex mirror and it looks not bad on the truck.
Heck good enough for our bus drivers maybe I better put a straight up and down shaft on and keep it on.

And yes, on any holiday I get to visit a lot of gas stations.

Nice truck... With the 3.73 gear ratio should be great gears for towing... As well as solo...

Somehow I lost the info, this was to replace my 1996 Blue truck that got totaled when someone hit me head on, this is a 2003 6.0litre, 4x4 4L80E transmission, 4:10 gears, extended cab, full 8 foot box, 2" factory lift on it, was not sure how it would measure up to my old 7.4litre, 454 engine, but it does well and goes pretty quick, tows well too.

That is a"Beefy" looking Truck. Nice that you could find one like that when you need it.

It is pretty easy to find a Tow Vehicle if you have $60K, but a nice 10 year old truck is tough to come by.

Just bought a 2000 Suzuki JLK. Good shape, easy to tow according to the manual. Fun little rig to drive. Getting a baseplate put on here in m
Mesa, driving it back to MN. And will get rest of towing apparatus as I can afford. Reading up on this vehicle it sounds like it should be a good toad.

GM Trucks and RV's

Enjoyed reading this post. We've had 2 GM trucks that both towed 5th Wheels, and yesterday just bought a new to us one, with the 8.1L. Excited to be towing home our new to us 5th Wheel on Thursday. We are selling our current 5th Wheel, an Okanagan. Upgraded to 2 feet longer! LOL Every inch counts. Here is the new truck and the new 5th Wheel
