New Tow Vehicle

Leaving next week for a five week trip. Decided to trade my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 for a new 2500. I probably won't even notice the trailer back there anymore.

Ya you will, but you'll love that exhaust brake on the down grades and torque when you climb.

No issues with the 1500. I had a 2011 3500 in the past and liked th extra torque and exhaust brake. It will make it easier here in the mountains.

I think that you will have a problem wiping the smile off your face. Many folks say that don't know the trailer is back there, but few are telling the truth. I think you will be able to truthfully say it.

That was just a bit of sarcasm. When we had the 3500, we pulled a Cameo 5RV and it was such a smooth setup. That was pulling 13,500 lbs. My Arctic Fox only weighs 6,800 lbs loaded so it will be a nice ride.

The Arctic Fox model I like is the 28F, but sitting dry at 7500lb. I'm thinking the 5.7L Tundra will be maxed out. Toyota has a diesel for the Tundra in the pipeline, but they keep coming up with ways not to ever build it. Stopped at a dealer (Toyota) yesterday, the manager said there will be no diesel for 17' !!
