That's 5 times it's been bumped so far. With the potential of the order being further delayed or completely cancelled due to ______ (Fill in the blank)! They also alerted me that although I got a VIN assigned back in September it could still potentially be cancelled due to Ford deciding to no longer build 2022's at some undetermined point in time. This is a load of BS! The truck order is not complicated. I already pulled the Adaptive Steering. Then Ford had me go back and sign the purchase order AND provide Drivers License for them to verify I am a real person ordering the truck, not the dealership trying to just up it's inventory. I have a priority 10 on the order - which salesman told me is highest you can get - but have been told that it's useless with the way things are going. I'm about to pull what's left of my hair out waiting on this thing. I hate this waiting. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something. Still not interested in any other brand of truck. Ok rant done....

Update 12/12/2021:
Found out from my Ford Dealer on the evening of 12/09 that the truck has FINALLY been sent to production. After 5 1/2 months and 5 delayed build starts since it was ordered 06/25, my F350 is finally moving in the right direction. We still won't have the truck until early/mid January however. In the meantime we continue to visit our rig in the back of the dealer lot every week, check on things, and pretend camping until the truck arrives.
On another note, when I updated the RV dealer on the ETA of my truck and picking the rig up the told me I have until May 2022 vice end-of-month 12/21 to move it. Seems the dealer is moving to a newer and larger location next year and as a result there is no rush for me to have to get the rig moved since their inventory is not overflowing.
All I know for sure is that this camper and truck better be worth the wait. I realize patience is a virtue, but COVID can KMA with all the issues we have with things now a days because of it. Later...

Wow, I consider myself lucky then, even if we did not know at the time.
We started looking for the 5th wheel and the truck beginning of February (2021). Truck inventory was not great but here in Northern Colorado I still had a choice of 3 or 4 diesel F350 that met our needs. So we bought one off the lot, about 8% below MSRP. The Alliance was also available with 2 weeks delay due to weather and at a good price.
It is really surprising how fast things went downhill within a few months. But I guess the industry is just reaping the rewards from years of just-in-time profit optimization. A house of cards that will collapse with the slightest tug on one card. Sometimes you just cannot beat an inventory buffer.

I am now seeing a few trucks on my local Ram dealers lot. I drove by yesterday and saw 5 trucks on their lot. They had zero for a few weeks.

It's dismal the way all the various dealership lots look nowadays. Used to be where Bozard Ford in St Augustine (my dealer) was chock full of vehicles, as well as the other dealerships in the are. Now, when you see a new vehicle at a dealer it's usually a special order. I've seen MY F350 2x in the past month sitting out front of Bozard. Well, they looked like the one I have on order. One of the sales managers was telling me that special orders are starting to be the new way to go. The days of fully stocked new car lots may not be back anytime soon. All that overheard costs more than them just putting a special order in for a customer. Just be prepared to wait for months to get it however. Now where was the F350 that I ordered back in June? Oh yeah, it's finally on the production line in Kentucky! Lord help me!! And Pray for the people in Kentucky affected by the tornados this past weekend.

I ordered a new Chevy HD DRW in September from the only dealer I will purchase from even though they are now 5hrs away (I relocated). Have purchased several vehicles from them and trust them 110%. It hasn't been built yet and dealer has no idea when it may be, but was told they would hold firm on price given.
There was a similar truck (different color, but all other options) "in transit" to a different dealer in the area. My son inquired about it and dealer advised the price was $11,000.00 OVER msrp.
I hate car dealers.

I probably should have updated my early post in this thread sooner than now but ...
So I had ordered my Ram on August 17th. After several false shipping dates I finally received an email from them stating it would ship and should be at the dealer between November 13th and 26th. It arrived November 15th. Dealer had originally told me 14-16 weeks from the sales person and the sales manager told me 18-20 weeks, so 13 weeks was great aside from the several false ship dates from Ram Chat I was told several times (9/20, 10/2, 10/20). So far has been great but I only have about 1500 miles on it so far.

I ordered a RAM 3500 on October 19th and over the weekend I got my shipping date, January 12th. A lot of things have to happen before it actually gets to my dealer, could be late February before I actually have it.
So for me it will be 12 weeks plus maybe 3-5 more weeks getting on and off rail cars.

Sort of the same boat Dark Sky - I ordered a 3500 DRW on October 13th, I have the build sheet but no ship date yet. Evidently it's out getting the bed liner and 5th wheel stuff put on it. Overall really can't complain, even if it does not come for another month or two!

you guys that ordered the Rams early in October are making me anxious. I ordered 10/28 and so far no word on movement. I would hope to have the truck by the end of Feb so I can take the trailer to Tx in March, AZ in April, NY in June, need I go on?

You guys with RAMs on order probably know about this forum:
https://hdrams.com/forum
I thought I'd mention it just in case. Under the 4.5 Gen General Discussion sub-forum there's a thread that has crested 1000 pages of people discussing and tracking their HD truck orders. One of the members set up a spreadsheet to attempt to see whether certain options or models such as MegaCabs etc are taking longer than others. Conclusion is it seems to be random. There are a handful of poor souls who placed orders back in May and June with no truck yet. On a brighter note, it seems like things are starting to pick up and an increasing number of trucks are starting to get delivered. Looks like 12-16 weeks is getting a lot more common with some coming even quicker than that.
I don't know that you'll want to read 1000 pages, but at least read page 1 that explains status codes and so on. Throughout the thread there is some info on prices, discounts, and explanations of some of the options that are confusing when you are trying to spec out a vehicle.
Anyway, I'm not sweating just yet. Our first real 'need' is a trip in late April so fingers remain crossed.

Yes, and the spreadsheet that one of the members created to help track and see orders is great!

I have seen that thread and was following it at least for a while. It is quite impressive. However spare yourself trying to read through it all or even any large portions of it. It is full of all kinds of worthless info and you will wish you had those hours of your life back. However Dark Sky summed it up very well read the first couple pages check out the spreadsheet. The rest of it is when is it coming, how did you get yours before I got mine when I ordered before you, all kinds of conjecture, everybody trying to second guess the build process. There is some pertinent info beyond the first couple pages but not enough to try to find it. If you are ordering a Ram Ram Chat and your dealer are your best source of info and you cant really rely on that to be accurate.

I just drove by my local Ram and Chevy dealer today. Both had a few more trucks on their lot. 4 weeks ago they had zero. Last week they had 6 or 7. Today they have more. I would guess 8 to 12 Rams and the same on the Chevy lot.
Bozard in St. Augustine is a lot bigger than my local lots. I have not been there in a few months. I sometimes go to the RV lot just past Bozard's Ford. I would guess Bozard is starting to see more trucks arrive. My wife's son bought a Ford Raptor from Bozard's. Kids and their fast trucks.
