Ordered my 22 Silverado HD Custom, a month ago 12/22/21, traded in my 21 (same model).
Was told 4-12 mo. for delivery.
Bought an 03 Dodge Dakota, for 2K, to get around while waiting.

Because I like the truck and was able to upgrade to a year newer with another full warranty and approx. 4K worth of upgrades for approx. $200.00 cost.

I would not normally trade a year old truck or even buy a new truck in the first place.

The current market and limited availability and cost of used trucks has dictated my choices.

Received word Saturday that my 2022 F350 I ordered mid-August is built. This morning Ford shows that it is shipped and should get to the dealer in 2-4 weeks.
It's been a slow process but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

I ordered my Ram 3500 the end of Oct. Found out Monday it is built. I've got a build sheet and a window sticker. Waiting on a train ride out of Mexico. Hopefully it will be here in the next 3-4 weeks according to the dealer.

As the original poster I need to close the loop. Yesterday I saw my new truck at the dealer as it was being prep'd for pickup. I was booked solid all day today but will very probably take possession on Monday. This will be 14 weeks and 3 days from placing the order. It's a RAM 3500 SRW long bed. The RAMs seem to be coming through quicker for the most part with some people getting their trucks much quicker than I did. On the other hand, there are some glaring exceptions where people have waited far longer. If you're thinking about ordering a RAM you can take a look at HDRAMS.com, and a thread titled '2022 Ram HD Builds and orders'. It's well over 1200 pages, so for the most recent information you could skim the latest 100 pages or so.

Just an update. I ordered my 2022 Ram 3500 on 10/28/21. I picked it up on 2/16/22. total time 111 days. I feel fortunate. It was what I was told when ordering 16-20 weeks. Can't wait to try it with the TT. I drove it home before the storm, but so far I am in love.

I was just going to say I stopped at my local Ford dealer and what looked like a front row of new trucks turned out to be a mix of used trucks. I stopped to have the oil changed in my Ford truck. Anyway I was disappointed to see this. The salesman did not know when inventory would pick up.

Curious what the tonneau cover is you got? I've got a Retrax XR Pro on order, supposed to be here next week.

The cover looks great. I can't wait to get it on. Thanks for the rebate listing. I'll check it out. With this new truck being well north of $90K I'll take any amount back I can get.
