Next generation battery - Toyota solid state design

I am not really a battery power vehicle guy since I no longer work every day. If I was working and had a daily commute maybe I would have a Toyota Prius.

But watch this video on the new Solid State battery design.

I am warming up electric cars / trucks if this battery technology is as going to be better than lithium ion technology.

I've heard so many promising battery chemistries over the last 20 years I've started to ignore them if they aren't in production yet. I heard of one that was to be made of water and sand I believe it was. I've never seen a production version. That said, I think in the next 10 -20 years graphene will come into it's own and revolutionize batteries. Can't wait.

I was just thinking the same thing, I used to believe these promising stories.

When it's here on the automobile showroom floor I'll believe it.

It's so weird being the same age as old people.
